Feed balancers come in various types including, Light Balancers for good doers or those who just need a maintenance feed, Senior Balancers for the older horse (with Glucosamine for joints and mobility), Cool Balancers for the excitable horse or pony, Laminitis prone Balancers to support your horse or ponies immune system against the causes of Laminitis or aid recovery, Original Balancers, Stud Balancers and more.

They can be added to other feeds or fed on their own and give your horse all their vitamin and mineral requirements. You can feed as little as a cup full a day (refer to the weight chart for each balancer) and with supplements already included in many balancers they can prove to be very cost effective. In any restricted grazing/feeding routine always include a good supply of essential fibre with hay or haylage and make sure your horse has access to plenty of fresh water.
