Coming up to autumn and winter horses naturally start to grow more coat in preparation for the colder weather and so comes the start of the clipping season. Some horses require trimming all year round for shows etc, but clipping mostly occurs throughout the cooler months, to stop horses getting too hot and sweaty during exercise.

There are a range of clippers and trimmers available. Mains Clippers and battery operated versions are great for full clips etc.  Trimmers are ideal for tidying up the harder to reach areas such as face, ears, legs etc.
