This hat meets all safety requirements for Pony Club and affiliated competing. It is the one of only a few hats in the UK to pass the unique SNELL E2001 test. This test includes a simulation of a rider falling into a fence rail or having a secondary hit by a horses hoof. The SNELL memorial foundation certify the safety helmets worn by grand Prix drivers. The Hi-Spec 1 features a carbon fibre reinforced shell and a high density full cover EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) shock absorbing lining. This lining enhances side impact. The leather four point harness with adjustable rear harness and chin strap ensures a great fit.
